Seeing Deadpool in Spain!

I spent another weekend in Europe not traveling, but just enjoying the city of Barcelona and all of its beauty.
I love movies, especially "superhero" movies, so when I heard there was an English movie theater in Barcelona, I knew I had to locate it, and finally watch the most anticipated movie: Deadpool.
Even though I had researched V.O.S or original language films before I went to the movies, I was still terrified it still might be in Spanish, because that's just how my life works.
All of the previews and commercials were in Spanish and no one at the theater spoke English, so it was actually a toss up. The first three minutes of opening credits when no one spoke was probably the most terrifying moments of my life, I could do nothing but laugh nervously. But LUCKILY, Ryan's hilarious voice came loud and clear throughout the theater and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief.
I honestly really had no expectations for the film, but I’ve wanted to see this movie since X-men Origins: Wolverine (like everyone else), and it did not disappoint. I was laughing the entire time, and the best part was of course the cleverness of it all.
If I would describe the movie, I would say perfection. So much genius. So much wit—to Reese and Wernick I appreciate you. Here’s my top 5 funniest moments:
When they showed a picture of Ryan Reynolds as Green Latern in the opening scene
When Colossus was dragging DP to see Professor X and he goes “Stewart or McAvoy”
When he points out why they only ever see 2 of the X-men as if the studio couldn’t afford another X-men movie
When he puts on a crappy mask of Hugh Jackman under his mask, and every other Wolverine joke
When they pointed out that “cancer” in Spanish is “el cancer,” which the entire theater found hilarious
I already can’t wait for the second Deadpool movie, but at least I get to see X-men: Apocalypse this May, and I’ll be home to enjoy it.
